VINTAGE 500 IN THE TUSCANY HILLS
Meet driver at your hotel and transfer to Castellina in Chianti area where you’ll meet the guide and you’ll have a small briefing. Follow your English-speaking tour leader through amazing Tuscan scenery with photo stops along the way and a chance to sample some delicious food. The itinerary involves the breathless Francigena Road. The ancient route that in medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome and to the harbors of Apulia has become an iconic itinerary for modern wayfarers, who today can set off on a surprising and enchanting route on a vintage Fiat 500 car. This experience ends in a local farmhouse where a delicious lunch of local and genuine products is served, the way it’s been done in our colonics in the past centuries to locals, pilgrims and any sort of traveller. The tour will last about 5 hours.
