THE MEDIEVAL TOWN OF CACCAMO
Today you’ll discover the enchanting town of Caccamo.
Its main attraction is the Medieval castle, which is towering over the village and is one of the most impressive in Sicily and in Italy. It was built in the twelfth century as a typical defense castle. Inside, the ‘Hall of Conspiracy’ is an impressive piece of fine workmanship.
The tour of the castle and town will last about 2h 30 min/ 3h.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred to a nearby farmhouse where you’ll have lunch (not included in the fee) and spend a nice afternoon. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the journey.
