Located on the famous Amalfi drive, just a few minutes away from the famous town of Amalfi, the Santa Caterina enjoys a panoramic coastal setting of incomparable beauty. The hotel is site at the summit of an extensive property, which begins along the Amalfi drive and tumbles down to the water on a series of landscaped natural terraces.
Guest Rooms and Suites
37 standard, superior and deluxe accommodations and 13 between junior suites, executive junior suites, suites and open space suites are located in the main building and there are 17 additional accommodation between garden suites, deluxe rooms, junior suites, executive junior suites, suites and open space suites in Villa “Santa Caterina” and the new acquisitions, recently completed Villa “il Rosso” and “Casaruoppolo del Rosso”. Each of the 67 luminous rooms and suites have a balcony or a terrace or large windows with view on the Amalfi coast. Many have a large terrace or garden.
Restaurants and Bar
Hotel Santa Caterina has two restaurants both with panoramic sea view, one in the main building and the other overlooking the swimming pool and the sea.
Glicine restaurant: offers a panoramic terrace with a breath-taking view on the Amalfi bay. A new fine dining concept, proposes a cuisine focused on local recipes and Mediterranean flavors, proposing balanced, elegant and innovative dishes.
Restaurant al mare: opened from May to October the restaurant is positioned on a perched terrace just above the private beach platform. Fresh grilled fish or pizzas are cooked in the traditional wood burning oven.
Il Grottino Bar: next to the beach club you can settle in and unwind between dips in the pool and sunbathing.
La Terrazza Bar: with a welcoming environment, panoramic view of Capri and vast selection of cocktails and home-made lemon liqueurs
Swimming pools and spa
Easy to access by way of two comfortable elevators carved in to the rock face, the Beach Club is also home to Hotel Santa Caterina’s Restaurant Al Mare, the perfect place where to enjoy a light snack or delicious platter of fresh grilled fish.. Sun loungers, deck chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels are provided by the attendants.
To complete the pampering experience, the hotel proposes a Wellness center/Spa with a wide variety of massages and beauty treatments, sauna, Turkish bath and Scottish Hydrotherapy Shower.
