Day 1: WELCOMO TO LAKE COMO

Arrival at Milano Malpensa airport and private transfer for Como Lake. Free time and relax in SPA. Overnight in 5 *L Hotel in Lake Como.

 

Day 2: PRIVATE BOAT TOUR IN COMO LAKE (6 HOURS)

Lake Como is the most romantic lake in the Italian Lake district. We’ll try to make you appreciate the pleasure of cruising along the banks of the lake. The lake is surrounded by sumptuous villas as: Villa Balbianella, Villa Oleandra of George Clooney, Villa Cassinella.You will admire the incredible waterfall of Nesso and the famous old town of Bellagio.

Day 3: SWIZERLAND DAY TRIP: LUGANO AND BELLINZONA

Pick up at the hotel’s lobby and private transfer to Lugano (about 1h  / 1h 30 min) where you will meet your guide for a nice walking tour (2hrs).

Enjoy a guided walk through the streets of the picturesque old city. With its bars and outdoor restaurants, Piazza Reforma symbolizes that touch of “dolce vita” that the city gives to Switzerland. The beauty of Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains naturally frame the largest city in Ticino.

Drive again to reach another beautiful town, Bellinzona. You will explore the town center with the Nosetto Piazza and Piazza Collegiata , the town hall and the Castelgrande  (Great Castel).

The guide will suggest you a nice restaurant where you can taste some typical

dishes.

Day 4: FROM GARDA LAKE TO VERONA WITH STOP IN SIRMIONE

At 9.30 AM private transfer (2hrs 30 min) to Garda Lake with 2 hours of stop in Sirmione for guided tour and self organized lunch.

Arrival in Verona at about 5 PM. Free time.

Day 5: VERONA HIGHLIGHTS

Meet your local guide a the hotel and start this amazing walking tour.

From here you will start exploring the old town, with a stop at Castelvecchio, a medieval castle. From there, you will discover Pizza Bra and admire the First century B.C Roman ‘amphitheater’ from the outside and learn of the games of the gladiators as well as facts, myths and legends of the Arena. Enjoy a pleasant walk on cobblestone streets as you relive the past and view the old town walls and other monuments from Roman times and the Middle Ages. After taking some memorable photos of ancient roman ruins or the beautiful city squares, you will reach the House and Balcony of Juliet

You will then follow the guide back to the central square, Piazza Erbe, where we will finish the tour as you learn more about the local culture of Italy.

Day 6: FROM VERONA TO VENICE WITH STOP IN VILLA PISANI

At 9.30 AM private transfer to Villa Pisani for a private guided tour for 3 hours of the amazing villa and gardens. It will follow a private transfer to Venice by car and water taxi from Piazzale Roma Square to your new hotel.

Day 7: VENICE WALKING & BOAT TOUR

The tour guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby and then you will enjoy a stroll to the very heart of Venice, the St. Marks Area of Venice.  On arrival in St. Mark’s Square you will enjoy the history and the architecture. After St. Mark’s square, staying away from the crowds, you’ll walk through the backstreets and the squares to explore the city’s layout: you’ll be cocooned by the silence and intimacy that only a car-free city built to human scale can provide. We’ll end our visit in the busy neighborhood of Rialto, once the trade center of Venice. You’ll cross the famous Bridge, the oldest over the Grand Canal, and explore the bustling surroundings of the best fresh produce market in the city.The last hour will be on a luxury private boat – the best way to appreciate Venice is from the water perspective. Day 8: MURANO AND BURANO BOAT TRIP

You will visit the most beautiful islands of Venice: Murano & Burano with a private luxury boat with expert local guide. You will visit the beautiful island of Murano, where the glass blowing dates back to the 10th century. Whilst watching one of the glass masters blowing and shaping the glass in the furnace, you will learn the history and the process of the glass making throughout the years. Then you’ll visit Burano, a fishermen’s island known for its vibrant multi-coloured houses. The tour guide will lead you through the narrow alleys and reveal the true culture and lifestyle of this charming, picturesque town, famous also for the millenary lace-work, you will also have the possibility to see one of the local old ladies working on the Burano lace: she will show you the different stitches involved in making these wonderful works of art.

Day 9: VENICE TO BOLOGNA

Day 10: BOLOGNA HIGHLIGHTS

Meet your local tour guide at the hotel’s lobby. He will unveil to you the secrets of the city with particulars which tourists do not usually see.Your tour will start in Piazza Maggiore and Fontana del Nettuno (the place where the medieval market was held) and will continue by visiting the Basilica of San Petronio and Palazzo del Comune (the religious and political heart of the city). You will also see the famous Archiginnasio palace (the seat of the oldest university in the world). At the end of the tour you will have the chance to see the two towers symbol of Bologna (Asinelli towers with its 97 metres, and Garisenda Tower with its 47 metres).  The tour will end with the Mercanzia palace and the complex of Santo Stefano (the Seven Churches).

Day 11 ** MICHELIN STARRED LUNCH EXPERIENCE AND CASTLE

Today you will discover the wonderful castle of Dozza Imolese and the old town. You will be able to admire the modern frescoed walls and the majestic fortress.

After the tour you will be transferred to an amazing 2 star Michelin restaurant – San Domenico. The story of San Domenico began in 1970 with Nino Bergese. People used to call him ‘the king of chefs, the chef of the kings’ for his noble background.

Flowers, abat-jours, leather sofas and baroque music create the warm atmosphere of a time when eating out was a luxury habit. You will be able to taste the Chef delicacies. The restaurant has also an incredible winery who boasts a fine list of wines.

Day 12: TORRECHIARA CASTLE AND WINERY  

Private transfer to one of the most beautiful castles in Italy, Castle of Torrechiara. The castle was built between 1448 – 1460 by Pier Maria Rossi, Count of San Secondo di Parma, in honour to his lover, Bianca Pellegrini. We can choose to ride and e-bike or a normal one.The hills offer charming landscapes among the plain, the valley and the wondrous Castle of Torrechiara, with its slopes and vineyards.

After the visit you’ll visit a nearby winery where you’ll have a guided visit and tasting.

Transfer to Antica Corte Pallavicina where the Michelin Star Chef Massimo Spigaroli produces his precious Culatello di Zibello Ham.

You’ll enjoy a welcome drink and you’ll visi the Culatello di Zibello old cellars.

Day 13: HANDS-ON COOKING CLASS

Full immersion in the production of traditional fresh pasta from the Bassa Parmense area. The chef will prepare the pasta cuts that have made Italy famous all over the world: from tortelli Parmigiana style to tagliatelle, anolini and the pre-Columbian open gnocchi.

You’ll also taste some great wines directly from Antica Corte Pallavicina’s farm.

The cooking course will last about 2 hours then you’ll have lunch.
