Ravenna has the world’s richest examples of Ancient and Early Christian mosaics dating from the 5th and 6th century AD. This itinerary takes us back to 410 AD, from Galla Placidia we continue to the Battistero Neoniano (450 AD) which has an incredibly beautiful mosaics in Hellenic – Roman style.Starting from the main square, long Cavour Street and entering San Vitale beautiful church. Galla Placidia’s mausoleum, Neonian Baptistery and Sant’Apollinare Nuovo.)We will move to the Sant’Apollinare in Classe Church, Teodorico Tumb and Baptistery.
