Today you will live an unforgettable experience through Emilia Romagna region, the birthplace of Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and Balsamic vinegar.
The day will start with a visit of a Parmigiano Reggiano factory: you will have a private guided tour of the dairy, from the production department to the maturing warehouse. The guided tour ends with a tasting of four seasonings of Parmigiano Reggiano, ricotta, butter, tosone, all accompanied with balsamic vinegar, jams and/ or honey and water and Lambrusco wine.
The you will be transferred to a Prosciutto factory where we’ll learn all the secrets of this amazing cold cut. Handcrafting, combined with modern technologies, provide the stages of manufacturing, refining, salting, curing. After the visit you will taste the prestigious products of this factory.
After this light lunch you will end your day with another visit to an amazing balsamic vinegar factory, dated back to 1883. During the visit you will take a tour of the acetaia, walking in the scent of the ancient floors, among the barrels and the ancient instruments from cooper. You will be guided to discover the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, from the grapes to the cooking of the must. After the visit you will taste Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena della Saba accompanied by fruit preserves without adding sugar.
