MOUNT VESUVIUS DAY TRIP FROM ROME

Mt Vesuvius is one of the Europe’s quiescent volcanos and it’s infamous for causing the destruction of Pompeii and Herculaneum in 79 AD.
Lava flows have scarred the sides of Mt. Vesuvius and are visible on the winding road up to the summit. Hiking the volcano is the only way to truly experience the magic of Mt. Vesuvius.
The hiking group tour to the crater takes you through soft volcanic ash and pumice and the views from the top are worth the effort. On the top of the volcano the National Park guide will tell you about the history and the features of the Vesuvius. The entire activity in the National Park will last about 2 hours.
You’ll have about 1,5 hours to have lunch before returning back to Rome.

Private transfer with English-speaking driver – drivers are not allowed to do guiding of historical sites or museums. Executive Sedan Mercedes E Class is included from 1 to 3 pax. Luxury Minivan Mercedes V Class is included from 4 to 7 pax. Luxury Sedan Mercedes Class S is available on request for 1 to 3 pax and subject to supplement.
