This is an ideal position to visit Puglia – Masseria Montenapoleone is in the heart of the region, about 50 km from Bari, surrounded by the Itria Valley, and is a perfect starting point in order to explore the Salento beaches.
Guest Rooms and Suites
Our rooms are all different, what they have in common is the passion for a sustainable design. Each room is a different experience in colors and geometries. The past echoes among old objects and pieces of furniture which are living a new life. A palette of pastel shades is harmoniously tuned with the choice to follow a retro philosophy of charm. We believe that a good rest needs a space able to hold the most beautiful dreams, daydreams and night dreams, our aim is giving shape to the most beautiful desires. All the wrought iron beds are original from the early twentieth century. Only the mattresses have been replaced, we have chosen the latest generation to ensure maximum comfort surrounded by a timeless magic.
Restaurants and Bars
La Falegnameria: Adjacent to the pool, the old carpenter’s workshop has been converted into a bar and restaurant – and, as you might expect, the bar where you order your coffee is made out or an old renovated craftsman’s worktop. Huge amounts of imagination have been used during the renovation this place – the large tables inside the carpenter’s workshop are lit by lamps made out of old paint tins.
The winter garden:An old tool shed has been transformed into an elegant garden, surrounded by glass walls with flourishing bougainvillea and cacti. This corner has a slight ‘Provence’ feel to it – great for parties!
La Stalla: The breakfast rooms used to be the horse stalls, a little rustic oasis, which, at first glance, will give you that very image: lamp-shades made from old saddles, small tables made from old weighing-scales, sideboards built into the old eating troughs. Here you will be tasting the Masseria’s home produce – from home-made jams, to flans made with dried figs, to a quite exclusive cinnamon citrus fruit ‘carpaccio’ (thinly sliced) – as well as fresh seasonal fruit, cheeses, dairy products and a selection of finest cut meats.
