Cantina Florio and Donnafugata wineries are 2 of the most important wineries in Sicily.The guided tour of the Florio Cellars is a journey that begins in front of the majestic giant vats, built at the end of the 19th century and still used for the refinement of marsala. It continues inside the 3 fascinating barrel chambers, 165 meters long and running beneath 104 arches, under which 1.400 small barrels and about 600 larger barrels and vats of different capacities are arrayed, as c. 5.500.000 litres of Marsala wines age in silence and stillness.

The visit will last about about 45 min and then you’ll taste 2 different Marsala wines, one Zibibbo and one Passito di Pantelleria.

The tour will finish with a typical lunch.  The second tour will be Donnafugata winery. You’ll visit the historic cellars, passing from the underground barrique cellar to Sala delle Botti. It continues with the tasting of 5 wines paired with 5 classics of the Sicilian cuisine. The visit will last about 1h 30 min.
