Guest Rooms and Suites
The 79 rooms, among which 49 suites, are located in the hotel’s three adjoining buildings – La Vittoria, La Favorita and La Rivale. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace with unrivalled views over the Bay of Naples or the hotel’s lush garden.
The One-of-a-kind Suites make an impressive statement with their lavish bedroom and equally splendid lounge area. Enhanced with exceptional views over the sea, they are in honour of past celebrities who stayed at the Hotel.
The Caruso One-of-a-kind Suite, with its large terrace and sea view, is kept in the same style as when the famous tenor stayed in the room in 1921. There are endless stories about his stay, and we also have his piano and writing board, as well as letters and photographs.
The Lucio Dalla One-of-a-kind Suite is named after the Italian singer-songwriter, Lucio Dalla who died in 2012. This elegant and spacious room, with a superb terrace facing the sea, effortlessly blends contemporary design with a nod to the past.
Restaurants and Bar
The Bosquet Terrace Michelin starred restaurant is open for dinner. It is one of our three restaurants and has a beautiful terrace where you can hear the relaxing sound of rolling waves and see the silver stars low in the evening sky. Sorrento’s industrious, classic fishermen can be seen off the coast of nearby Capri.
The kitchen is governed by the prominent chef, Antonino Montefusco, who is Sorrento-born. Just over thirty years of age, his experiences are both authentic and varied. Antonino’s kitchen is an emporium of mind and soul where culinary magic happens. Antonino uses his experiences and his imagination to create original dishes with a blend of distinctive and traditional flavours.
L’Orangerie Pool Side Bar & Restaurant
L’Orangerie poolside bar & restaurant offers delicious favourites in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Located in the orange grove by the pool area, L’Orangerie is open every day for lunch and dinner during the summer season.
Terrazza Vittoria is the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria Bar & Restaurant set on the most iconic terrace in Sorrento facing the sea and the Mount Vesuvius. The place “to be” for a lunch in Sorrento. Enjoy a meal for lunch or late lunch till 6pm with a magnificent view of the bay of Naples. Serving a selection of our Chef’s exquisite Neapolitan specialties.
Bar à Champagne La Pergola is our cool proposal for guests fond of champagne: they can sip their drink from a selected menu on this bar’s lovely intimate terrace overlooking Sorrento’s main square and the sea.
