Located at a few steps from Brescia and Lake Iseo, Franciacorta awaits you with its treasures: the Franciacorta wines, splendid hills and cultural and historical sites. Franciacorta was the first Italian sparkling wine to have optained the DOCG (, Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin. You will stop in one of the most important winery called Berlucchi.
Guided tour of historical Guido Berlucchi winery, with introduction to the region, the production process, and the company. To follow, guided tasting of Franciacorta Berlucchi 61 wines. The tastings are accompanied by home-made salami, Grana Padano cheese, and artisanal stick bread.
You’ll have the chance to visit as well Palazzo Lana. It was built over an existing medieval structure in the sixteenth century by the Lana de’ Terzi family, the noble dynasty from which Guido Berlucchi descended,
Inside you can admire unique works of art, such as the painting of Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus and patron of the arts, whose portrait dates back to 1495 when she was a guest in the palace. The visit will last about 2hrs, then you’ll be transferred to Albereta relais & chateau, where you’ll have an incredible lunch at Leonfelice vista lago restaurant.
