Day 1: WELCOME TO RIVALTA TREBBIA OLD TOWN

Private transfer from Milan Airport to Rivalta Trebbia.

Overnight in 4* Hotel in Rivalta Trebbia (Piacenza countryside)

 

Day 2: RIVALTA TREBBIA CASTLE AND WINERY

The journey will start with the small village of Rivalta Trebbia who preserves the original architecture of private homes, tavern, restaurants, shops and medieval religious structures.

The counts Zanardi Landi still live today in the sumptuous and elegant residence.

The visit will last about 2 hours then you’ll be transferred to nearby organic winery.

You will taste 5 different types of wines and typical food: Parmigiano Reggiano, cold cuts, home made bread, local cheeses etc.

Transfer back to the hotel and afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: FROM PIACENZA TO PARMA

Transfer to Castell’Arquato one of the most well preserved castles in Emilia Romagna. The visit will last about 2 hours then you’ll be transferred to Parma countryside.

The onwner and Michelin Starred Chef is the most important producer of Culatello di Zibello Ham.

Upon your arrival you’ll have a welcome drink and you’ll visit the Culatello cellars.

Day 4: HANDS-ON COOKING CLASS

Full immersion in the production of traditional fresh pasta from the Bassa Parmense area. The chef will prepare the pasta cuts that have made Italy famous all over the world: from tortelli Parmigiana style to tagliatelle, anolini and the pre-Columbian open gnocchi.

You’ll also taste some great wines directly from Antica Corte Pallavicina’s farm.

The cooking course will last about 2 hours then you’ll have lunch.

Day 5: TORRECHIARA CASTE AND PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA HAM

Unforgettable experience in the birthplace of Parma ham.

We’ll start with a Prosciutto factory where we’ll learn all the secrets of this amazing cold cut. After light lunch We’ll continue with the visit of the spectacular Castle of Torrechiara, one of the most beautiful and well preserved castles of Italy.

Day 6: BOLOGNA HIGHLIGHTS

At 10 AM private guided tour in the most beautiful spots of Bologna as: The Two towers, symbol of the city, Piazza Grande Square, St. Petronius Cathedral etc. Free afternoon and overnight in 5*L hotel in Bologna

 

Day 7: PARMIGIANO REGGIANO AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR

The journey will start early in the morning with a Parmigiano Reggiano factory where you’ll learn who this amazing cheese is produced and you’ll taste different types of Parmigiano (12 months, 16 months, 18 months)

It will follow a guided visit of a beautiful farm holiday who produces typical wines and Aceto Balsamico tradizionale di Modena. You will have a gourmet lunch with traditional dishes from Modena.

Day 8: PRIVATE TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
