CHEESE MAKING DEMONSTRATION AND TYPICAL LUNCH IN PIENZA
Meet the driver a the hotel lobby and transfer to Pienza, the hometown of “Pecorino di Pienza” goat cheese. Together with the owner of the farm and cheese maker you’ll learn how a traditional Pecorino di Pienza cheese is made. During the activity, your host will guide you along the whole process: from the stable, to the fermentation to the aging. During the demonstration of a first salt cheese on the spot you can ask him all the questions that will come to you spontaneously during the discovery of this ancient art. The visit and lunch will last about 4hrs. Follows a drive tour in the countryside and historical towns.
