Tasca d’Almerita has 5 estates with different soils and climates.
The Estate has almost 600 hectares, 12 types of different soils but all the wines come from a single vineyard or from more than one vineyard, always within the same estate. The estate produces also Extra Virgin Oil oile. The tour will last about 2 hours and you’ll taste 3 different types of wines followed by lunch with typical and seasonal products.
After lunch transfer to the enchanting town of Caccamo. Its main attraction is the Medieval castle, which is towering over the village and is one of the most impressive in Sicily and in Italy. It was built in the twelfth century as a typical defense castle. Inside, the ‘Hall of Conspiracy’ is an impressive piece of fine workmanship.
The tour of the castle and town will last about 2h 30 min.
