The Castello di Spaltenna is located in the open countryside of Gaiole in Chianti, so we would advise you to come by car. In case you are flying in, we would be glad to help you renting a car at the airport.

We have 37 rooms (5 Classic double rooms, 11 Superior double rooms, 3 Junior suites, 2 Executive Suites, 2 Terrace Suite, 1 Jacuzzi Garden Suite and 1 Family Suite)

Restaurants and Bar

The Pievano Restaurant: the Pievano Restaurant is open for dinner only both for the Castle guests and external customers. The restaurant just received its first the Michelin Star.

La Terrazza Restaurant: here you will be able to order “light” dishes with fresh-first quality ingredients, inspired by the same Pievano philosophy: a local cuisine that is contemporary and historically respectful.

L’Osteria: at the Osteria you can taste the typical dishes of our land: pasta, ravioli, tomato soup, fiorentina, clippings, pizza, traditional flavors made with quality raw materials, all rigorously hand-pulled and selected by local producers.

SPA “La Pieve”: over 200 square meters of well-being that develop between indoor areas dedicated to the hot humid area, swimming pool heated to 29°and fitness room Technogym equipped, and green outdoor areas overlooking the vineyards and dedicated to relaxation.
