Inside the ancient walls of Castel Monastero, the rooms, the suites and the Villa recall both the rustic and the harmonious elegance of the old Tuscan dwellings.
Guest Rooms and Suites:
Villa Lavanda: a wonderful 17th century villa, surrounded by sweeping gardens and flourishing Chianti vineyard. It has been painstakingly restored to preserve all the features of Tuscan country architecture.
Royal Suite: Comfortable in size (74-79 m2) and ideal for one or two people, our Superior Rooms offer a large bedroom furnished in the Tuscan country style. Antique materials and exquisite fabrics help create a warm atmosphere. The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub.
Executive Suite: Super apartments (57-78 m2), ideal for up to four people. Every area of the suites is decorated with exquisite materials, fabrics and detailing in the rustic Tuscan style. The windows provide spectacular views over fields, vineyards and the piazza at Castel Monastero.
Junior Suite: Marvellous suites (50-63 m2), perfect for up to four guests. Rustic Tuscan style and chic materials- from antique wood to terracotta and fabrics – shine out from every last detail. The bathrooms have a separate shower and bathtub. Connecting rooms are available.
Prestige Room: The Prestige Rooms (45-51 m2) are perfect for up to three guests, with the possibility to add a third bed or cot. Some of these rooms are divided into separate areas with a bedroom and sitting room. All the bathrooms have separate showers and buthtubs.
Deluxe Rooms: A charming, relaxing place to stay. These spacious Deluxe Rooms (32-45 m2) are ideal for couples, and a cot can also be provided. With their radiant, understated Tuscan style, the furnishing and materials create a warm atmosphere. Many of the bathrooms have separate shows and bathtubs. Some rooms are connecting.
Superior Rooms: Comfortable in size (25-30 m2) and ideal for one to two people, the Superior Rooms offer a large bedroom furnished in the Tuscan country style. Antique materials and exquisite fabrics help create a warm atmosphere. The bathrooms have a shower and bathtub.
Restaurants and Bar:
You will have the chance to taste the best local specialties, wines and gourmet dishes while enjoying the amazing settings of Castel Monastero restaurants: Contrada, which overlooks the wonderful main square of the Resort, and La Cantina, located under the wonderful vault ceiling of what was once a wine cellar. Is Gordon Ramsey, thanks to his absolute passion for Tuscany, who studies the flavors, who skillfully select the ingredients and who writes the menus in respect of the tradition.
Wellness & SPA:
The wellness programs start from the Aquae Monasterii, a pool whose water is particularly rich in salt and magnesium and whose effects play a positive role on the muscles and joints. Besides, its draining effect reactivates the circulation and stimulates the endorphins. Furthermore, there are two saunas, the Hammam, the Kneipp path and the wonderful infinity pool with hydro massage, which is perfect to tone up the body.
The SPA features tailor-made programs that combine nutrition, sport, relaxing technique and energizing massages that operate on the same areas of the acupuncture. The programs aim at stimulating the metabolism, purifying the body and balancing the diet with a series of menus – focused on mind, body and nutrition – adjusted by the Resident Chef together with a team of doctors and nutritionists.
Apart from finding a perfect balance between mind and body, the Remise EnForme will focus on other related non-invasive aesthetic and anti-aging treatments medicine such as filler, biorevitalization botox and and laser; chinese acupuncture sessions and osteopathy sessions.
