A 5-star hotel in the secluded Siracusa outback, Borgo di Luce I Monasteri is housed in a villa that was once a Benedictine monastery, then the home of noble families, including the Catalans and the barons of Melilli.

Divided between deluxe borgo, deluxe villa, superior, junior suite e suite, they are spaces where comfort and beauty are guaranteed: the rooms are all on the ground floor and overlook the lush garden or the golf course and are distributed in the three different buildings of the structure. From the rooms you can enjoy a splendid view of the greenery, among citrus trees, palms, carob trees, ancient pines, laurel, myrtle and olive trees. All with private entrance, they are spacious, comfortable, bright, with king size beds and refined furnishings.

Our restaurant is the sublime place where you can taste inebriating flavors. It is here that we serve the dishes of our chefs together with our smile. A refined environment, bright during the day, suffused in the evening, designed to enhance the taste experience that we want to offer every day. The room overlooks the patio where the fountain throws waterspouts, surrounded by the ancient architecture of the monastery and by greenery, lemons, carob trees and pomegranates. You can have lunch and dinner also outside, where the covered terrace will allow you to taste our flavors while the breeze refreshes the atmosphere.

Zagara Spa
Our SPA is a real temple of wellness, a place immersed in peace and silence, perfect for abandoning stress and finding yourself. The interiors are essential and indeed refined. Designed in 2013 by the architect Simone Micheli, they are spread over a surface of 300 square meters mainly in stone, divided into different areas according to their purpose, including: Turkish bath, emotional shower, sauna, Jacuzzi, relaxation area, 5 cabins equipped for personalized wellness treatments and salt room.
Fitness
If you love fitness, in addition to the Zagara SPA available to your well-being there is a gym equipped with exercise bikes, treadmill, elliptical and inclined bench. Perfect for those who want to train indoors, will allow you to maintain a perfect physical shape even while you relax under the sun of Sicily.
Golf
An extensive renovation project involved the 18-hole
par 71 golf course, whose course stretches across the Mediterranean landscape, in a plantation of 86 hectares of orange and lemon trees. A paradise for playing this sport and for relaxing the mind, getting lost in the expanses of the greenery. The course covers an area of 6520 meters and was designed by the architects David Mezzacane, president of the Italian Association of Golf Course Architects, and Vincenzo Mazzacane.
The 6 par 4 holes have been created inside a prickly pear plantation. The natural local iblee-limestone hills whiten the path in the holes two, three and four.
