BOLOGNA HIGHLIGHTS
Meet your local tour guide at the hotel’s lobby. He will unveil to you the secrets of the city with particulars which tourists do not usually see.
Your tour will start in Piazza Maggiore and Fontana del Nettuno (the place where the medieval market was held) and will continue by visiting the Basilica of San Petronio and Palazzo del Comune (the religious and political heart of the city).
You will also see the famous Archiginnasio palace (the seat of the oldest university in the world). At the end of the tour you will have the chance to see the two towers symbol of Bologna (Asinelli towers with its 97 metres, and Garisenda Tower with its 47 metres). The tour will end with the Mercanzia palace and the complex of Santo Stefano (the Seven Churches).
