The only way to visit the amazing grottos of Polignano a mare is by boat. You can choose to do it either in the morning or in the afternoon. Allow yourself to dive in the blue water of the most suggested place of the coast.
Admire tall cliffs, caves and the profile of the old town centres with the domes of the churches. Explore the many grottos that have been created by the sea over millennia, spending two hours of relax and fun: Cala Ponte, Grotta Santa Caterina, Grotta delle Rondinelle, Cala Paura, Grotta Azzurra, Grotta Piana etc.
After the boat trip you’ll be able to have an amazing lunch or a romantic dinner in a candlelit cave overlooking the Adriatic Sea, called Grotta Palazzese. The restaurant was carved out of the cliff’s limestone centuries ago by the sea. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the trip.

- Private transfer at disposal with Mercedes luxury cars or minivan and English-speaking driver for 7 hours with departure from Northern Salento and Trulli area and 8 hours with departure from Lecce and southern Salento.
- 4 hours private boat trip (22FT) or 3 hours private boat trip (29 FT), gasoline, English-speaking skipper.
- Lunch/dinner reservation at Grotta Palazzese (meal to be paid on the spot).
Notes: Private transfer with English-speaking driver – drivers are not allowed to do guiding of historical sites or museums. Executive Sedan Mercedes E Class is included from 1 to 3 pax. Luxury Minivan Mercedes V Class is included from 4 to 7 pax. Luxury Sedan Mercedes Class S is available on request for 1 to 3 pax and subject to supplement. In case of bad weather (i.e strong winds and/or rain) we will try to find an alternative date for the tour. If this is not possible you will receive a full refund. The skipper will have the last word about wheatear or not to proceed with the boat trip.
